Farmer Contracts
Graze Wagyu cattle on a short or long term basis
Wagyu Breeders Ltd has a comprehensive range of sharefarming and grazing contracts on offer, to complement Wagyu cattle grazed on Brownrigg Agriculture properties. Our main contracts are:
Sharefarming Cows
This is a farmer friendly and simple contract based on a fixed calf liveweight price and a 50:50 split of proceeds. In-calf replacement heifers are supplied in each year of the contract, which removes the need to carry replacement stock.
R1 Grazing
This is a May to May contract for the growing out and mating of replacement heifers.
Winter Cow Grazing
Options are available for return of cows pre- or post-calving.
Seasonal Grazing
Wagyu Breeders is often on the lookout for shorter term grazing for a range of stock classes.
